The Shepherd's Hut by the lagoon

Over these years, we have had so many friends and relatives visit us on the farm that we decided to build a place for our guests to stay. We call it “The Shepherd’s Hut” as befitting to our humble sheep farm.

Originally in Great Britain, when shepherds travelled long distances with their flock to find grazing pastures, they built simple, rustic shacks to shield them from the harsh weather and to spend the night near their sheep.

Following this tradition, we would like our guests to have the authentic experience of the shepherds. As you lie on the bed in the shepherd’s hut, doze off in the embrace of nature - the chirping of birds, the croaking of frogs, the bleating of sheep and the mooing of cows, all form a soothing symphony for slumber.

Some friends told us they have never slept that well in years. We are glad that they managed to find rest and respite here on the farm, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The Shepherd’s Hut is a retreat for those who seek to be close to nature and to themselves.

For single travellers, it is a time to enjoy solitude and introspection. As for couples, some intimate moments "away from everything" go a long way for relationship-building.

We hope you will enjoy the Shepherd's Hut just as much as we have.
